Songdo The Sharp First World is the first completed project in Songdo new city. With Songdo’s identity as a landfill in mind, the design utilized four different spaces of garden and water while the facade was inspired by Korean traditional wall patterns.
Songdo The Sharp First World is the first realized residential complex in the Songdo new city, with the concept of “One-Stop-City” with direct access. Unlike existing residential-commercial complexes, four types of gardens and water spaces were separated and arranged around the masses of the middle and high levels, and a basic living unit consisting of residential, business, and sales facilities was provided.
